Accounting course descriptions

Rize’s Accounting program includes 10 courses, covering everything from foundational topics like Financial and Managerial Accounting to advanced subjects such as Auditing, Taxation, and Advanced Accounting. The curriculum also includes career preparation and business law courses, ensuring students gain the technical knowledge, ethical grounding, and real-world experience required for CPA licensure and long-term success across public, corporate, and nonprofit accounting roles.

ACT I - Financial Accounting

Teaches the fundamentals of financial statement preparation and analysis while developing the skills to communicate organizational performance to stakeholders.

ACT II - Managerial Accounting

Provides tools to design budgets, analyze costs, and create decision-support reports that empower business leaders to make strategic resource allocation decisions.

ACT III - Intermediate Accounting I
