Students gain practical experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation using Excel and industry-standard modeling techniques. Finance course descriptions

Rize’s Finance program will have 10 courses, ranging from foundational topics like Corporate Finance and Financial Markets and Institutions to advanced and career-focused offerings such as Portfolio Management, Financial Modeling and Analytics, and The Future of Finance. Together, these courses are designed to equip students with both the core knowledge and emerging skills needed to succeed in modern finance careers.

FIN I - Financial Analysis with Excel

Builds fluency in Excel-based financial analysis by teaching students how to evaluate company performance, identify trends, and communicate insights through professional-grade reports.

FIN II - Career Navigation and Exploration in Finance

Helps students explore diverse finance career paths while developing a personalized plan aligned with their professional strengths, goals, and market opportunities.

FIN III - Financial Markets and Institutions

Explores the structure and function of financial markets and institutions, equipping students to analyze how capital flows through the economy and how regulation shapes financial systems.

FIN IV - Corporate Finance

Teaches the core principles of corporate finance, including time value of money, capital budgeting, and capital structure, to support sound financial decision-making.

FIN V - Investments

Develops skills in risk-return analysis, portfolio construction, and security valuation to prepare students to make strategic investment decisions across asset classes.

FIN VI - Financial Modeling and Valuation

Build integrated financial models and apply valuation methods that drive business strategy, investment decisions, and scenario planning.

FIN VII -  Portfolio Management

Teaches how to construct, monitor, and optimize multi-asset portfolios using advanced asset allocation strategies tailored to institutional and individual investor needs.

FIN VIII -  Future of Finance

Examines how technologies like AI, blockchain, and digital assets are transforming financial services, preparing students to lead in the future of fintech and investment.

FIN IX - Advanced Corporate Finance
