To be eligible for a scholarship you must meet requirements 1, 2, and 3

1. Current juniors or seniors enrolled in a course in an eligible Rize program: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, AI Literacy, Actuarial Science.

2. Completed at least one prior Rize course in the same program, and earned a C or above
‍
3. Demonstrated excellence in one of these categories: Career success, Real-world impact, Academic achievement.

Career Success
- Secured an internship where you applied skills learned in Rize courses
- Started a side business or entrepreneurial venture using Rize skills
- Led or participated in extracurricular activities that utilized Rize course content
- Leveraged Rize final projects as part of an application/interview process and secured an internship/job

Real-World Impact
- Used Rize course skills to solve problems in your community, workplace, or organization
- Completed a significant personal project outside of class that demonstrates Rize skill application

Academic Excellence
- Created an outstanding final project in a Rize course that demonstrates real-world application

Any time you took skills, frameworks, or knowledge from your Rize courses and applied them outside the classroom to solve problems, create value, or achieve goals—that's real work to us.

No, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements above, you are free to apply even if you are not a declared major/minor/concentration.

We know that Rize students are hustlers in and out of the classroom — that’s why the application form is designed to take 30 minutes or less.

You’ll share specific examples of how you've applied Rize skills, and describe your career goals,

The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Finalists will be notified to take part in a 30 minute interview, and scholarship recipients will be announced in November.

We plan to expand this scholarship across more programs in the following semesters, but for now, this scholarship is only available for students who are in the following programs: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, AI Literacy, Actuarial Science

The Rize Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to support students enrolled at institutions within the Lower Cost Models Consortium (LCMC). Scholarships are awarded and administered by the Rize Foundation, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with administrative and technical support provided by Rize Inc.
